Craft Your Memories in Wood: these maps are custom made from solid pieces of wood. I choose beautiful slabs of Cherry, Maple or Walnut to help make your map as stunning as I can. Carved to match accurate elevation data of the area of your choice, these maps are custom throughout the entire process. Finished with a polyurethane based protective coating to keep it safe for years of admiration.
- Please allow 2-5 weeks for the creation of your map!
- Wood is a fickle beast and each piece will have variations in color and grain patterns. I also may have to glue matching wood together for your map resulting in minor grain and color differences and a miniscule glue line.
- For maps larger than 12 inches by 12 inches I may be required to add a wooden frame to prevent cupping in the map.
